Starting out recording the most hushed of demos from her bedroom in Derry, Bridie Monds-Watson caught industry ears and within months she found herself playing live to millions on Nick Grimshaw’s Breakfast Show.
With tenderness to her songwriting and the kind of brittle honesty that sinks in your gut, she signed to Rough Trade Records. Releasing her single Sea Creatures this year, it’s an expansive reworking of an early demo that shows just how far Soak can transform her natural talent.
With her debut album on the way and already receiving huge support from BBC Radio 1 and The Guardian who compared her to Joni Mitchell, this is going to be one stunning show that will sell out.
