They’ve opened for everyone from The National to St Vincent to Arctic Monkeys. Brooklyn’s San Fermin, the baroque pop ensemble curated by composer Ellis Ludwig-Leone, can certainly cater to a broad audience.
On their self-titled debut they career between explosive crescendos, calm swells, and soaring moments of multi-instrumental bliss. A hard act to pigeonhole, if we could negotiate this down to one tag it’d surely be ‘life-affirming’.
After releasing their stunning sophomore album Jackrabbit in April, and smashing a US tour with fellow glitchy rockers Alt J, San Fermin are coming to the beautiful Union Chapel and you have to be there.
