A Dog Called Money documents the creation of PJ Harvey’s 2016 album ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project’, directed by her long-time collaborator Seamus Murphy.

Harvey accompanied Murphy on a worldwide trip from Kosovo, Afghanistan to Washington DC in search for inspiration. Returning home, her experiences and observations fed into poems, songs, and then an album. The album was recorded from within a specifically constructed room with one-way glass, as part of a 5 week live art experiment at Somerset House. Both the experiment and Murphy’s documentation give an intimate, unprecedented insight into Harvey’s creative process.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
