Known for her big hair and bigger voice, Jess Fitz is a jazz-pop singer-songwriter based in South East London. Taking influence from artists including Amy Winehouse, Lizzo and Whitney Houston her songs feature jazzy melodies over funk-fuelled bass and brass, and are tied together with soulful pop choruses. A born storyteller and English Literature graduate, her lyrics are smart, sassy and always tell a story.

2019 saw her perform a string of intimate shows across the capital at venues including The Jazz Café. Her hotly anticipated debut single is finally arriving in February with a launch gig at Folklore, where she will be performing with a full band for the first time. Supporting is mellow but powerful young singer-songwriter Calÿpso
