In January of 2018 Jane Fitz came to Soup Kitchen with a bag of unusual records. Pulling the fader down on the last track of Gwenan's expertly paced build up, Jane immediately slammed into a 130+bpm acid metler and from there dragged us down a wormhole of progressively faster, tougher and weirder techno. For everyone there that had seen Jane spin over the last two decades it was strikingly different to the usual floaty psychedlic gear she wields at Freerotation or Pickle Factory.

In her own words : "I thought at the time, "This doesn't sound like me!" That was the first time I ever thought that. Other times I'll think, "This definitely sounds like me." But I'm also conscious that you can't get locked into that idea of what "me" sounds like." [Resident Advisor, Art Of DJing]

Regardless of what "me" she brings, be it the deep-house Jane, the banging techno Jane, or the ambient yurt Jane - you can be sure that she'll telepathically control all attending and play a bunch of records you'll be thinking about for weeks after.

She's backed by her mate from Cleethorpes, Carl - he's the guy behind Animals On Psychedelics and is resident Dj and promoter of roving party Sub:System. "We've played together at Pickle Factory, Brave Factory festival in Kiev, Field Maneuvers a few times, Virgo Festival, Meadows in the Mountains and Dance Tunnel...". Next on the list is Soup Kitchen.
