**Welcome to WIP, short for Work In Progress – a gathering for sharing our love of music. In this listening night meets feedback session, music lovers from all backgrounds share influences, works in progress, and current song obsessions to shape outputs – and push the boundaries of music.**

Music needs great listeners who deeply appreciate the craft, as much as it needs great musicians dedicated to their art form. So we bring the two together to build authentic relationships – and, as a group, evolve the music industry.

If you’re a musician working on something that needs another viewpoint or an injection of inspiration – and if you’re a music lover who wants a backstage pass to the creative process or to feed your hunger for new music… WIP nights are for you.

**Why WIP matters**

WIP is part of What Does Not's NOISE music initiative to make London the capital of new music discovery. A big part of achieving that is stoking people's appetite for new material. In recognition of our ambition to save the grassroots, the initiative is part of the Mayor of London's 'London Creates Music' campaign.

Nope. This is a night to chat, meet, learn and share music.

100% - WIP nights are for musicians at all levels / stages of their career.

For sure. You'll get to hang out with some of the best emerging artists & creatives in London.

I’m not a musician, is this night for me?

Yes! WIP is an intimate social event that takes place before NOISE. It's an opportunity for musicians and audiences to meet and get to know each other, and their projects in a more quiet and intimate setting.
