ERASED TAPES: PENGUIN CAFE, DOUGLAS DARE, SHARDS
Erased Tapes 20･･－－－0 present a rare evening of music that showcases the label's sonic diversity.
The triple bill will be headlined by the iconic Penguin Cafe, who will be performing tracks from their latest album, the widely acclaimed Handfuls of Night as well as pieces from the original Penguin Café Orchestra back catalogue. The band will be joined for the evening by the inimitable songsmith Douglas Dare playing songs from his latest album Milkteeth, and experimental vocal group Shards who combine voices, synths and percussion as they share tracks from their debut album Find Sound.
Summer Sessions has gone on sale at a reduced 50% capacity, ahead of the possibility of reopening to full audiences on 21 June, subject to government guidance. Safety measures will be in place, including one-way systems to ensure a safe flow of visitors and sanitiser stations. Visitors are required to wear face coverings, unless exempt.
