Three solo sets by Gareth Dickson, Koichi Yamanoha and Laura Loriga. Gareth Dickson; “an artist of real originality… haunting” The Wire Magazine “ethereal, hazy melancholy” - 4 stars Mojo Magazine "This is beautiful music, music in the act of levitation, a ghostly presence; almost tangible but never within reach.” Mark Harwood, Fire Records. Dickson toured extensively as Vashti Bunyan’s guitarist and collaborator, recorded and toured with Juana Molina & many well respected pioneering musicians including Devendra Banhart, Coco Rosie, Max Richter, David Byrne & Joe Boyd (producer of Nick Drake, The Incredible String Band). Koichi Yamanoha; London-based singer-songwriter experimentalist Koichi Yamanoha has been operating under the alias Grimm Grimm since 2013. The project is an outlet for his fragile, haunted, otherworldly forays into baroque folk, uneasy easy listening, futurist lyricism and electroacoustic oddities with foggy melancholia. Laura Loriga; Laura Loriga developed her work between Italy and the US, releasing three albums and performing in Europe, California and New York-her current abode. Her songs are based on piano, organ and voice, a series of darker compositions close to folk and classical tradition as well as to experimentation. Laura has also been collaborating with Jaye Bartell, Giardini di Mirò, Leo-Z, Adam Moseley. Active in film music, she contributed to several film soundtracks, among which Lucus a Lucendo and Shelter, Farewell to Heaven (Caucaso Films).
