Back in 2015, it seemed as though Leon Bridges came out of nowhere. From Fort Worth, Texas, his debut EP was a timeless collection of heartfelt blues that caught us off guard. Recalling the classics of RnB icons Sam Cooke, Otis Redding and even a little Marvin Gaye, he croons with the confidence of an old-timer on tracks like Coming Home, while Better Man has the aural aesthetic of a rare, dusty, lucky vinyl find.
His most recent releases clamour to the top, with his double drop Bet Ain't Worth the Hand and Bad Bad News touching all of his previously debuted corners.
