Defying conventions are indie rock duo Girlpool. Cleo Tucker (guitar, vocals) and Harmony Tividad (bass, vocals), minus a drummer play dreamy folk-infused punk reminiscent of The Moldy Peaches.
All about the DIY element, they released their self-titled first EP via Bandcamp. Growth in popularity saw them signed up to the home of indie Witchita Recordings, who re-released their EP and their debut full-length record Before The World Was Big in 2015. Returning with Album Powerplant, featuring singles 123 and the effortlessly luscious It Gets More Blue they're more than ready to engage in some live listings.
Each year Girlpool are reaching new heights, catch them at Gorilla this September.
