Eleanor Friedberger's solo workings, post brother-sister duo days, has swarmed the streets of New York in a tentatively powerful gust for some time. It was her third album, New View, which really saw her work conjure up intrigue. The record’s no-fuss, organically fresh acoustic pop songs weave into one another seamlessly, with her melodies notably drawing from artists like Harry Nilsson and Neil Young, knocking the nostalgia and fronting in current confidence.
