UPDATE: We are waiting until this plague subsides and postponing our Seder until Summer 2020. Be on the lookout as we release a new feast date.

Welcome to DoubleBlind & Disco Dining Club Present A Very Psychedelic Seder, an immersive feast drawing parallels between psychedelic liberation and the story of Passover.

Bruchim habaim. Welcome to the new High Holidays.

A Very Psychedelic Seder marries the traditional guided meal of the Seder with a raucous dinner experience inspired by April 19th aka Bicycle Day in which Albert Hofmann intentionally consumed LSD for the first time after his discovery of the hallucinogenic.

All seats include:

  • A bedouin inspired feast from Parisa Parnian of Savage Muse
  • Ever flowing wine and thematic libations
  • Theatrical performances inspired by both Passover and LSD
  • Gift bags, elevated snacks, and a plethora of tasty surprises
  • All staged within a fully immersive environment
  • Cannabis and cannabis-inspired moments

Please note that guests will be shuttled from Echo Park Lake to the venue. The venue is approximately a 30 minute drive from Pasadena. All guests will be shuttled back to Echo Park Lake at 8pm.

This event is strictly 21+. The venue is NOT handicap accessible. All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.

a little about Disco Dining Club....

Disco Dining Club – created by Courtney Nichols – is a thematic food and drink event that revels in all the excess, debauchery, and hedonism of disco. It is the belief of Disco Dining Club that there were moments of decadence throughout history that led to the ultimate decadence: disco. Whether a historical era, an artistic movement, or an iconic piece of culture, Disco Dining Club recreates these colorful moments through the lens of a theatrical dinner party. At Disco Dining Club, we ask but one thing of our guests: to consume everything.

a little about DoubleBlind Magazine...

DoubleBlind is a print magazine and digital media company covering psychedelics and all they intersect with, from mental health to environmental justice. DoubleBlind covers timely, untold stories about the expansion of psychedelics around the globe. DoubleBlind listens to everyone, from indigenous communities, who have preserved these plant medicines for millennia, to the people in our society who need healing the most, but who don’t have access to it. We’re not speaking to the veteran tripper, nor evangelizing to the anti-drug square. We’re speaking to everyone who is curious about psychedelics, and who’s craving fresh perspectives on some of the most important issues of our time — including the psychedelic decriminalization movement and clinical research that’s helping these medicines become prescription medications, approved by the FDA.
