Johnny Flynn is one of the most celebrated figures of Britain's so-called 'nu-folk' scene. Blossoming at the same time as the likes of Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling, his debut album A Larum harked back to a different time and a greater simplicity of life, with Tickle Me Pink and The Wrote & The Writ now considered some of the scene's most loved tracks.

Announcing new album Sillion for March, previewed by beautiful, tender single Raising The Dead, the Londoner is growing into a career that looks to be long and fruitful.

Also forging a career as an actor, Flynn is a massively talented individual and his grand, poetic words will fit in perfectly at St. John's Church in Hackney.
