Online rock, pop and new music mag The Quietus are having their first social of the year, which features a full playback of Aphex Twin's Richard D. James Album. Co-founder/editor John Doran will present a lecture Selected Ambient Walks: Aphex Twin And Cornish Mythology, linking together tin mining, pasties, witchcraft, Foucault and more. It'll also serve as the London launch of Freaky Dancing: The Complete Collection, with the makers of the legendary Hacienda acid house fanzine and their modern contemporaries discussing the art and politics of fanzine making.
