Deerhoof's twelfth album La Isla Bonita, released in 2014, embodies the band's trademark endless imagination, unpredictable time signatures, ingenious guitar tones, abstract song construction, and everything in between that’s brilliant about music.
It’s no surprise they’re adored by their musical peers with a recent Guardian article collecting praise from the likes of Graham Coxon, Henry Rollins and David Shrigley to name but a few.
Releasing its follow-up The Magic in 2016, the Deerhoof legacy is still a growing beast, and they play Village Underground on September the 5th. Make sure you throw yourself into its mix.
