Prolific Canadian songwriter Joel Gibbs brings his band back to the UK for this date at London's The Lexington.

Once describing his music as "Gay church folk music", Gibbs has brought in various members to play in his collective, including Owen Pallet, Laura Barrett and Arcade Fire's Mike Olsen.

With a seventh album on the way, first track Day I Left Home is a confident and considered piece of longing Americana folk that cruises as it confides. Well known for his elaborate stage performances, this is likely to be a very special gig.

Presented by Hey! Manchester.

This is an 18+ event.
