Andrew James Brown: The Moon Under Water

History, philosophy, musings, poems, and tales of booze, horse brasses and Morris dancers. Join Andrew James Brown for a warm lager or two. Taking Orwell's 1946 essay as a starting point, this show travels through pubs great and small, through country inns and city gin-palaces, across parquet and sticky carpet alike in search of the perfect pub. A must for anyone who likes pubs!

Originally written as part of the Inn Crowd project, with support from Creative Arts East, Applause Rural Touring and Arts Council England.
