Living in a depressing high-rise with her single mother in 1970s West Germany, Christiane sneaks out with friends, going to nightclubs. Seduced by the bad kids, she finds herself hooked on heroin, walking the streets to feed the habit of not only herself but her hustler boyfriend. And she's only just turned 14 punctuated by the best David Bowie concert performance ever printed on film.
