On 2009's Gorilla Manor, their understated folk, full of youthful abandon and soaked in Californian sunshine made Local Natives the emerging indie rockers of the moment.
Returning with Hummingbird, their second LP was dubbed "brilliant" by NME and praised for its “undercurrent of stormy emotionalism” by Rolling Stone, no doubt referencing the machine-gun rhythms and emotional intensity.
Local Natives' new material is bigger and bolder. Managing not to lose their unapologetic vulnerability in Taylor Rice's surging hooks, Fountain of Youth, Villainy and Past Lives have fans rearing for their new record.
Just as much "the band you have to see live" as they were 7 years ago, Local Natives play Bristol's Motion on November 4th.
A charity add-on of £1 per ticket will be sent to Plus 1 within 30 days of the performance date.
Presented by MJR Group.
This is an 18+ event.
