Wales Goes Pop! are bringing a full weekend of bright, introspective, celebratory, indulgent, and hook full indie pop bangers to Cardiff's The Gate this March, with day tickets now on sale.

Headlining the Saturday are Los Campesinos! Having formed at Cardiff University ten years earlier, they've spent the time since specialising in failed romances, late night losses, heart swells and heart aches. Maturing from breakout hit You! Me! Dancing to the destructive likes of The Sea Is a Good Place To Think Of The Future or the pure pop perfection of Avocado, Baby, their back catalogue has surely sound-tracked a thousand break ups.

This will be a very special hometown set of sorts commemorating a decade since their first demos were posted to Myspace from a Cardiff bedroom. Joining them are fellow local legends The School with tales of twee heartache, BBC 6 Music favourites Shopping who'll bring their angular, staccato creations, and newcomers Mammoth Penguins with the sweetest of indie riffs.

Presented by Wales Goes Pop!

This is an all ages event.
