We would like to propose for your amusement a day and night out. In fact a weekend. We’ve taken the liberty of booking out six flats above our very awesome nightclub, Patterns, for the weekend of the 1st -3rd November. There will be around sixty of us, maybe a few more. England is cold and rather dull at that time and we intuit that you all may be in need of a lift.

Come to Brighton for a weekend. That weekend. We will select a pub for us all on the Friday (location to follow) and we can hang out and have a few beers. Maybe some chat and a few laughs. Early(ish) night. Saturday morning we rise and shine, grab some breakfast and go do something spiritual on the beach in front of our residence (ideas welcome). Then lunch. Then we prepare. For lots of fun.

We propose the colour blue as a theme for the Saturday evening. We’ll all get ready across our different flats but in blue. Really blue – work on it. That way we can all recognise our fellows from the general public as the club is rather large (600 people). Then we meet for cocktails on the ground floor. Then we, ahem, prepare to party. Then we…PARTY until 4am. It’s Tru-Thoughts 20th birthday party and the music will be mighty fine.

Then, weather permitting ….. we take Anton’s obnoxiously big Escape Sound System (would you believe, our club used to be called the Escape!) to the beach for sunrise.

Then bed. Then sleep. Then wake up, shower, then Sunday Lunch on the ground floor of Patterns.

It’s £30 per night per person for the bed. £10 club entrance. £10 lunch (excluding booze). Then depart. So eg a two night stayer is paying £60+£10+£10+booze or £80 plus booze. It’s as cheap as we can make it I’m afraid. If you’re struggling with the price but want to come let me know and I’ll try and help. The apartments all have kitchens and there are shops nearby if you would like to self-cater. If you’d prefer to make your own arrangements for accommodation that’s fine too.

There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in Kemp Town nearby and in the Laines. Or the pier, which is opposite!

Please book soon as the event is likely to sell out by the end of September.

Big hugs and kisses.

Andy and Jon
