Youth Music’s Give a Gig Week brings together artists, fans and local communities who want to equalise access to music for young people.

We believe that every young person should have the chance to change their life through music. Yet our research shows that many can’t. Our insights, influence and investment in grassroots organisations and to young people means that more 0–25-year-olds can make, learn and earn in music.

Old Dirty Brasstards:

Tweed-clad 10-piece brass powerhouse, Old Dirty Brasstards, burst on the scene in 2012 with their exhilarating party jams and unique interpretations of indie classics. Formed in Forest Hill in the heart of South East London by trombonists Richard Turner & Chris Smith, they ventured forth and wowed audiences at top venues such as Bush Hall, Fabric, the Forum, Hammersmith Apollo, KOKO, the Roundhouse, Scala and XOYO; supporting renowned artists like Basement Jaxx and The Hoosiers, and delivering barnstorming sets at major UK festivals such as All Points East, Bestival, BST Hyde Park, Mighty Hoopla, Glastonbury, Latitude, Leopallooza, Truck and Y Not.

About Molly Graham

Molly is an outstanding singer based in East London with a sultry voice and distinctive ability to play with melody. She sings jazz, jazz-flavoured pop and swing classics. Performing tonight she is accompanied by 3 phenomenal young musicians: Louis Stringer (bass), Lester Ridout (drums) and Columbus (keys).
 

The band’s personnel includes:
