It wouldn't be controversial to call Masters At Work the most influential pairing in the history of house. Emerging from New York in the early 1990's, Louie Vega and Kenny Gonzales broke moulds, set standards, pushed boundaries and made some of the greatest house records of all time. Twenty years later, and the revered duo are showing no sign of letting up. Their masterful mix of joyous vocals, anthemic basslines and tribal percussion continues to stand tall above the rest. Live, the pair have been cited as two of the greatest to ever grace the decks, fusing latin, jazz, funk, disco and no-nonsense house with effortless fluidity. On 4th April, Defected In The House welcome Masters At Work to Albert Hall as well as Play It Down's Oliver Dollar, Simon Dunmore and Sonny Fodera. House heads, you need tickets for this, now.
Presented by The Warehouse Project.
