**Dot Operator** is an indie pop band from Minneapolis, MN. Released in the summer of 2023, their eponymous debut EP combines melancholic lyrics, dual vocals, and powerful melodic hooks. Their lead single "Careful Now" was described as "a taste of nostalgia. There’s a throwback feel to its soul pop arrangement and its lyrics are captivatingly confessional." (Graeme Smith - York Calling). Additionally, the EP was listed in the "Best of July" releases from music review hub smallalbums.com along with indie mainstays like Local Natives, MJ Lenderman, and Mutual Benefit. **Laura Hugo** is an indigenous singer/songwriter from Teec Nos Pos, AZ located in the Navajo Nation. She moved to Minnesota in 2010 to pursue her music and has since played all over the Twin Cities and around the Midwest. She has used her experiences with grief, mental health and general confusion about her place in the world to write honest and relatable songs.
