From backing vocalist for Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers to star in her own right, Bristol-born singer-songwriter Yola is bringing her soothing take on Americana to Islington Assembly Hall. On her debut album Walk Through Fire she toys with tropes of the genre, shapeshifting through her many influences on a record that should be an instant classic. Fun fact: she's supporting country queen Kacey Musgraves on tour in the US. Yeehaws all round.
