Starting out over thirty years ago with the formation of Screaming Trees, Mark Lanegan has since collaborated with everyone from Kurt Cobain to Isobel Campbell, been a member of Queens Of The Stone Age, and enjoyed a critically acclaimed solo career.
With a deep, raw vocal that sounds as if it’s been soaked in whiskey, Lanegan has earned comparisons to Tom Waits for his soft gravel tones. But releasing his ninth album last year, the accomplished narrative drift of Phantom Radio, Lanegan is no longer a comparable figure, but a defining character in modern music.
Playing this date at Electric Ballroom, expect to be captivated by classic tracks like Harvest Home and by the consuming stage presence only a true master can deliver.
