Yuval Havkin aka Rejoicer is one of Tel Aviv’s busiest producers and founder of the Raw Tapes label, home to Israel’s own beat movement. He was born in London and moved to Tel Aviv at the age of 5. He began collecting vinyl at the age of 14, and started his way in the music world as a Jungle/Drum & Bass artist in 2006. He later moved on to hip hop, and produced beat tapes under the Guadaloop moniker.

Since then he has released more than 20 albums under all different aliases, including work with LA's own Stones Throw Records. He's performed shows with Oh No & DJ Romes, Black Milk, Peanut Butter Wolf, Hudson Mohawke and more.

Diaspora Dreams is the combination of Bei Ru’s airy, lofi charm, Krista Marina’s smooth, bluesy allure and the neo-soulful, middle eastern flare the two share. Together, they have created a sound that is equal parts moody and mythical. They invite you to step into their world, as the door opens with their dreamy debut, “Noir.”

Bei Ru is an LA-based multi-genre producer, composer, instrumentalist, and vocalist with a sound marked by a blend of airy, syrupy electronic, soul, psych, middle eastern, house & funk influences. Since the release of his debut LP, Little Armenia, he has honed a sound that sits at the nexus of neo-soul and left-field instrumental electronic music.
