THE PSYCHOLOGY OF EXTREME VIOLENCE | DISMANTLED
Use it to
In the aftermath of terrible tragedies and extreme acts of violence the same questions are always asked. What motivated the individual? Was he insane? Did he have any brain abnormalities? Were there any red flags? Could it have been prevented?
In this webinar, Dr Clare Allely dismantles the psychology of extreme violence. Examining the case studies of Adam Lanza and Dylann Roof, this talk is not glorifying or in any way condoning the actions of those who perpetrate such acts of extreme violence, rather it aims to positively influence how we think about and respond to the individuals who perpetrate such extreme acts of violence.
The hope is that listeners of this webinar will find it useful, informative, and that it will stimulate debate and new ideas of how we can even more effectively study these individuals to increase our understanding and prevent further devastating tragedies in the future.
