Feels, Prettiest Eyes, Dreyted

FEELS are a band from Los Angeles, CA known for their electrifying live  shows and their two highly regarded albums: s/t, produced by Ty Segall and  released in 2016 on Castle Face Records, followed by 2019's Post Earth, produced by Tim Green and released on Wichita Recordings. The band has  toured extensively across the United States and Europe as headliners as well as in support of bands like Ex Hex, Screaming Females, Ty Segall and Drive Like Jehu. Live, the band pulls no punches, delivering a potent blend of tight  hooks, luscious melodies and satisfying chaos; energy that serves as the perfect vehicle for their lyrics, urging audiences to shake away apathy and be  invigorated by a renewed sense of togetherness. After all… as Pitchfork points  out in their 8/10 review of Post Earth, "...polemical discourse and rock’n’roll  fun are not mutually exclusive—and, if anything, they should encourage one  another." In the Summer of 2021 FEELS released a limited-edition vinyl EP  titled Subversive Reaction via local art-publication Deemed Printable featuring songs recorded on the eve of the 2020 pandemic. The EP, recorded by Mark  Rains at Station House Studio, features Cole Berliner of Kamikaze Palm Tree on guitar and vocals (taking over for Shannon Lay after her 2019 departure  from the band), in addition to original members Laena Myers-Ionita (f.k.a. Laena Geronimo) on vocals and guitar, Amy Allen on bass and backing vocals, and Michael Rudes on drums. The band broke up in late 2021 so that members could redirect their focus to other ventures but is reuniting to play Pickathon 2022 as well as a handful of shows surrounding the festival.
