5.18 Magazine is back with a fourth issue of the printed zine, celebrating it's release with a party at Avalon Cafe.

Come down early to see artwork displayed from a host of incredible artists, grab yourself a copy of the zine and enjoy the festivities before getting down to the lineup of sick live music we have planned, with performances from Gender Warfare, Pussyliquor and Postmen DJs.

Gender Warfare will be bringing the infectious blast beats of their queercore / hardcore sound, after instigating a wall of death at our last party we absolutely had to have them bring the energy once again. Expect to be dancing hard for this one.

Pussyliquor will then not only be making their 5.18 comeback, the first time playing one of our nights since 2018, but also their first live comeback show since before the pandemic. The excitement for their return is beyond comprehension, and to have this happen with 5.18 is truly going to be so special and absolutely not to be missed. If you've seen the footage or photos from what happened the last time we held an event together, you'll know what I mean! And for those who are new to the band, expect high energy DIY punk, filled with rawness, rage and attitude.

Postmen DJs will be closing the night with an all-vinyl set of new wave, punk, post punk, goth, art rock, new romantic type beat. Spinning a mix of the finest underground sounds that transport you to the Blitz club or the Batcave in the 1980's. It's impossible not to dance to.
