Leaving us hooked, high and all of a sudden dry, he wasn't just unplaceable by his spanning genre vibe ranging from Jazz to RnB to Pop, but also in presence for the rest of 2014.
After about a year of longing for the loops and deepest, darkest, smoothest voice we'd heard maybe ever, Jelani Blackman was back and we all finally understood the meaning behind good things come to those who wait. His 2015 single Repeater showcased a clearer Hip Hop vibe and garnered early support from Radio 1 which has continued throughout his career.
