The Surfing Magazines are a garage rock supergroup. The band contains one-half of Slow Club and two-thirds of The Wave Pictures. The groovy Dominic Brider completes the line-up on drums.

Influenced by Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground and all the great surf guitar music of the 1960s. The Surfing Magazines intend to rock out, blow your mind, mellow it out, and then rock it out again. Listening to them is a rock and roll rollercoaster.

Fighting against today’s pretentious prog-indie-rock millionaires and bongo pop demigods, they're the real deal and will definitely take you back to the old school days when dancing wasn't a crime.

Presented by Hey! Manchester.

This is a 18+ event.
