Originally working as a songwriter out of Cardiff, it took Pete Lawrie a move to LA and a name change to find his feet as Until The Ribbon Breaks. And since then Lawrie’s momentum has been unstoppable.
Winning praise from Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, SPIN, and The Fader, his sultry and slick RnB soul is at times as deliciously desolate as it is uplifting. And it’s not just the press who’ve been won over. Remixes for the likes of Sam Smith and Lorde followed.
After a US tour supporting London Grammar the now-UK based trio play a string of special UK dates ahead of the release of debut album A Lesson Unlearnt in April.
