Bombay Bicycle Club will headline the opening night of All Points East. The festival takes over Victoria Park for ten days with two weekends packed with incredible line-ups ready to start your summer – other headliners include Tame Impala, Massive Attack and Kraftwerk.

This year saw the London-based four-piece released their long-awaited fifth album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong. Expanding their ever-inventive sonic universe, they’ve already toured across the UK, US and Europe including two sold-out dates at Alexandra Palace. Following a four-year hiatus, the band returned last year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their seminal debut album, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, taking the record on tour. Expect to hear classics like Always Like Me and Luna as well as newer tracks like Is It Real and comeback single Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You).

Having helped to craft the lineup with the festival, Bombay are hoping “there’s something for everything.” They’ll be joined by Loyle Carner, Lianne La Havas, Everything Everything, Nadine Shah, Nick Hakim, Nilüfer Yanya, The Orielles, Gengahr, Liz Lawrence and more to be announced.
