Edward Upton is the the man behind the prolific act, DMX Krew, his career spans over twenty-five years of electronic music innovation as not only one of the most noticeable artists on Aphex Twin's 'Rephlex' imprint but also the founder of both 'Breakin' Records' and 'Fresh UP'.

His no bullshit do-the-job and do it well attitude has seen him build up a cult following whilst rejecting the limelight and maintaining a sense of curious mystique. Non intentionally obviously.

His music over the year has been coined as 'pioneering' and 'groundbreaking', you only have to listen to his extensive back catalogue of music (Discogs counts 14 aliases) to recognise that this is wholly just. Over the last few years he has shelled out his live for institutions such as Dekmantel's Lente Kabinet festival, Boiler Room, Printworks and other such music mediums. Most recently he was announced as the first signing to Peggy Gou's recently launched Gudu Records with a new EP, Don't You Wanna Play?, a killer offering of uncompromising tracks.

We've been wanting to get this party in the diary for quite some time and we strongly advise you don't miss it.

20p from each ticket sold on DICE will be donated to The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a local day centre for 16-25-year olds who are homeless or insecurely housed.
