Their acclaimed first album won praise from Clash, DIY and Vogue, no less. Now, Drowners head to Lennon's with album number two.
After being whisked to New York, Drowners frontman Matthew Hitt regularly found himself in a boozy night-out squad of casual musicians. They just so happened to be really good and released their debut in 2011. Returning with the heart-heavy On Desire LP, their indie mellows out to drifting new wave of their biggest influence, Suede.
They've supported the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines and Foals and on October 15th, Drowners are taking over Lennon's.
