Kaptin Barrett is not a household name, but he's been deep in the game for over 20 years under many different aliases. He's played massive festival stages and tiny backroom bars, from Hong Kong to Uganda, Bestival to Boomtown where he was Head Of Music for over a decade, Kelburn Garden Party to Knockengorroch. In fact this will be only the second time in 15 years he's not played at Glastonbury Festival, because he wanted to soak up some midsummer madness in one of the best city's on earth.

This will be the 2nd of four all night DJ sets across the country, giving him a chance to dive deeper into his collection. Anyone who has followed his many Spotify playlists will know how eclectic his tastes are. If you haven’t, check them out. They cover dozens of genres from Blues and Jazz to Bounce and Jersey Club. At this particular nights you can expect uplifting music such as Funk, Soul, Disco and House, alongside a mixture of African, Latin and Afro Caribbean rhythms, a bit of Techno, maybe even some Folk, and with a healthy nod to UK sound system culture from Reggae to Jungle. Positive vibes guaranteed.
