KIRIN J CALLINAN
With full length number two Bravado having recently dropped and arguably taking spot number one in the artists indie pop portfolio, it’s about time it was shown off live. The record is bold, with a half-fun-half-im-deadly-serious vibe, similar to how we’d imagine your right wing uncle would joke about women being in the kitchen, though with less offensive subject matter, of course.
The Australian artist was first sent into the scene with indie rock band Mercy arms, who he stayed with up until 2009 when the group called it a day. He then released his debut solo album Terrible Records in 2013 which offered up heavy, hard but oh so rewarding indie melody.
Don't miss him playing Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen this September
