REBEL LECTURES: HOW I STARTED A REVOLUTION, AND THEN FELL APART...
In 2008 a group of friends created Rebel Bingo. In the space of 18 months it grew into the biggest revolution in bingo history. At its height Rebel Bingo was selling out shows in 1000+ capacity venues in 30 cities across 3 continents. It was unheard of at the time. They smashed the bingo system and changed the game forever. And then it stopped.
In this talk, one of the founders, Freddie Sorensen, talks about how he helped start a revolution out of nothing, why it came to an end, and what he learned along the way. It’s a talk about mental health, a personal experience in entrepreneurship, creating a brand, the power of dreaming big, and the mistakes he made. It’s also a story about human psychology, learning to become a leader (badly), personal relationships, personal transformation, and the importance of finding meaning in the game of capitalism.
Since hanging up his bingo wings Freddie has since gone on to found Rebel Lectures, a new talks format that aims to bring a bit of showbiz into learning.
This is the first in a series of three talks, the next two being Depression for Beginners and Depression for Winners.
Presented by Rebel Lectures.
This is an 18+ event.
