The evolving soundtrack of Ireland, Imagining Ireland showcases the most exciting creative artists at work today.

For this idiosyncratic one-off show Junior Brother will perform alongside special guest, Lankum’s Ian Lynch.

An challenging and richly lyrical singer-songwriter, Junior Brother is the pseudonym of Co. Kerry, Ireland singer Ronan Kealy. Chosen as one of RTÉ's Rising Irish Stars of 2018, and as one of The Irish Times' contenders ready to break through in 2019, Junior Brother has built a rabid following thanks to unmissable live shows, and music both excitingly forward-looking and anciently evocative. His strange stories unfold with reckless abandon upon an idiosyncratic Guitar and Foot Tambourine accompaniment, influenced as much by the avant-garde as music from the middle ages and his home place in rural Ireland.

Ian Lynch is a member of groundbreaking Irish traditional group Lankum, where he sings and plays Uilleann pipes, concertina, tin whistle and percussion. A creator of new songs and archaeologist of old, Lynch brings the past up to the present, merging the Experimental with the Traditional, Folk with Punk, Drone with the Sean Nós.

CMAT is the stage name of Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, a global pop star who lives in Dublin with her grandparents, where she is currently recovering from an AliExpress addiction. Her influences include Dory Previn, John Grant, Paris Hilton, XTC and KFC. Her supremely catchy 'I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!'follows streaming and critical hits 'Rodney'and 'Another Day (kfc)'

Paste Magazine: "(CMAT) has made waves in very little time with her infectiously camp, tongue-in-cheek nature, evoking Dolly Parton and Lily Allen at the same time."

The concert will be available to tickets holders for 24 hours following the performance.

Presented by Imagining Ireland.
