The intricate, lush tones of Hannah Peel are meant for late nights that turn into early mornings. Formerly a member of the Blur-associated shoegazers The Magnetic North, her debut LP, 2011's The Broken Wave, saw her take on a crisp new sound that has awarded her critical acclaim.
Its follow-up, last year's Awake But Always Dreaming, was praised for its cutting commentary on the affects of dementure, with The Guardian its main champions. Live, her tracks become adapted for dancefloors, and show another side to this fascinating singer.
