Dwelling on the edges of swelling pop and drifting rock, Tall Ships’ muted sounds have the bite of bands twice as loud.
Easing from charging rock to gentle, cyclic obsessions they got early buzz with a slew of tracks and EPs. The Cornwall natives garnered major love from Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, even taking on the BBC Introducing Stage at the Reading and Leeds. Releasing debut LP Everything Touching to acclaim in 2012, Pitchfork called it “post-rock at its most winsome”, while Line Of Best Fit gave it an impressive 8/10.
Announcing second album Impressions, due for release in February, the band will tour the album the following month, appearing at Glasgow's King Tuts on March 6th.
