Possible Oceans is the solo project of LA based singer/guitarist/producer Trevor O’Neill.  His upcoming full length, Death by Misadventure, has drawn comparisons to Foals, The Horrors, Queens of the Stone Age, and Royal Blood.  At once introspective and far-reaching, with an undertow of swirling synths and driving guitars, this record paints a picture of life in a world that feels invigorating and alive even as it faces apocalyptic circumstances.

Trevor launched Possible Oceans in 2018 with the release of the Phase Change EP, which received an enthusiastic welcome from press outlets around the world and remained on the NACC 200 radio charts for five weeks.  

In late 2019, after a year of performances in support of the EP, Trevor took a break from the stage to focus on writing new material. He immersed himself in an extended period of experimentation for much of 2020. Inspired by a deep dive into cyberpunk themed films and the unthinkable state of the world, Trevor emerged from his home studio with a newly reimagined vision for Possible Oceans. He tapped producer Jules de Gasperis (Low Hum, James Supercave) to collaborate on a new batch of songs which eventually grew into the upcoming full length, Death by Misadventure.

Last year saw the release of a series of singles and videos from the new record, including “Blood in the Water,” which caught the ear of BBC1 DJ Jack Saunders, who debuted the track on his Future Sounds show.
