Folkier than LAMB’s material, Lou Rhodes returns to her roots for theyesandeye, her fourth LP.
The Guardian praised the offering's "atmospheric, gently pastoral folk", where "love balladry and witchy woodland acoustica collide". With a career spanning near 20 years, Rhodes and Andy Barlow have touched on jazz, drum and bass and paved the way for a generation of new musicians, but folk could be Lou Rhodes’ for the taking.
For her first release in 6 years, Lou Rhodes heads to Headrow House for a beguiling show.
