With over 15 albums of work- he is described as a dedicated student of Detroit hip hop. As a beatsmith, he tends to favor lo-fi production methods, oddball samples, with casual yet thoughtful styles of rap.

For the last 15 years, Chicago’s native son Rich Jones has been a staple of the city’s DIY music and arts community. Rich’s creative output has matched the eclectic company he’s kept, as he’s delved into and combined various genres to create a sound and performance that embodies the rhythms and punch of the livest MC with the dulcet tones of the sweetest crooner.

\[ **Denmark Vessey** \]

Denmark Vessey spent the early part of his career as one-half of Crown Nation with fellow Detroit rapper/producer Quelle Chris. After meeting through mutual friends in Detroit in the late ‘00s, Vessey and Chris found they had creative chemistry, and quickly developed a friendship.

\[ **Cavalier** \]

Brooklyn born, New Orleans based rapper and songwriter, Cavalier has been steadily establishing himself as a prolific recording artist and is best known for his poignant observational lyricism, engrossing multi-media albums and evocative performance.
