**awakened souls** is the Los Angeles based ambient music project of longtime electronic music producer, James Bernard and Cynthia Bernard (marine eyes). Since unearthing their love for sculpting meditative soundscapes, they have endlessly found themselves in the creative process. Crafting layers of sound from their bedroom studio using guitars, synthesizers, field recordings, and dreamy vocals, they compose music to get lost and found in the present moment. Their most recent release, ‘unlikely places,’ was released on Past Inside the Present this past August.

**Cyane** is the new moniker of American composer, performer and sound artist, Sage Elaine Fisher. Her work for harp + voice + electronics is exposed, ethereal, sensual and textural, drawing on pop, R&B, avant classical and early choral music influences. Hot takes, incantations and translucent songs about love and power, gravity, surrender and interdependence, delivered with arresting vulnerability and fierce grace.

Fishers' previous project, Dolphin Midwives, was known for abstracted harp, voice and percussion using electronics, extended techniques and ritualized processes and has since evolved into the lucid and fiercely vocal-driven Cyane, throughout the creation of Body of Water (Beacon Sound, 2021), the chrysalis of the COVID-19 pandemic, and stepping into the healing arts field

In celebration of the release of his new album, Further Translations, out 11.10.2023 on Meadows Heavy Recorders, **Kenneth James Gibson** will be accompanied by Julie Carpenter and Dain Luscombe of Less Bells. Further Translations features remixes by Less Bells, Awakened Souls, Jack Dangers, Christopher Willits, Scanner, Brian McBride, Chuck Johnson, Konstantin Gabbro, and Kenneth James Gibson. Gibson has also released music that spans many genres under aliases such as Eight Frozen Modules, dubLoner, the noise rock band Furry Things, and Hiss & Buzz (with Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto). Gibson, along with Brian McBride of the drone-based ambient music duo Stars of the Lid, started the band Bell Gardens in 2009. In April 2016, Gibson released his first full-length ambient album under his real name, following up with 3 more albums between 2018 and 2022. Gibson also composes music for TV & film and has a sizable filmography on IMDb.
