Musician, author, musicologist, poet, and cultural commentator; there’s not much Julian Cope can’t do, but he’s probably best known for his time spent as the front man of seminal Liverpool post-punk group The Teardop Explodes.
To date he’s released twenty-seven albums and published his first book One Three One last summer. His last solo record was 2013’s Revolutionary Suicide.
This special show celebrates the release of new record Drunken Songs. As one of the most prolific performers in the UK, there's a lot to fit in. But Cope is also one of the most accomplished and revered and this is guaranteed to be an incredible evening.
