Now well into the second decade of their career, American five-piece Between the Buried and Me is one of very few bands that can skip between different styles of metal while retaining a distinct sound.
Formed back in 2000, they’re renowned for their intense, technical brand of progressive metal which culminated on their most recent release Coma Ecliptic. Thrilling, forward thinking, yet melodically challenging, bassist Dan Briggs describes the Andrew Lloyd Webber influenced album as an “over the top rock opera”.
If this sounds like your type of musical, pick up your tickets and prepare to get sweaty, because this one’s gonna get lively.
