SHE DREW THE GUN
Formed by songwriter Louisa Roach, She Drew The Gun are a lyrically evocative group crafting meticulously layered psych-pop out of Liverpool.
Originally Roach's solo project, she met James Kelly in 2015 and since the pair spent time honing down a sound that's formed the basis of their acclaimed debut, Memories Of The Future. Challenging the state of society in single Poem, Roach’s folky lilt over sparse synths and blues guitar creates space for her words to shake you.
Billy Bragg is a fan and Edith Bowman said that "if you like Portishead and PJ Harvey you will love them", so take their advice and grab a ticket for this gig at The Lexington.
Presented by Bird On The Wire.
