When I heard Weyes Blood's first release of 2019, Andromeda, it felt like I was being transported to another time, a place far far away from my worldly fears and preoccupations. The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whisks you off in an instant with little more than a single breathy note. Folk, '60s influences and rock inspirations all feed into her expansive sound which twists around sparkling electronica.
